Our nearest town is Leamington Spa (8 miles away), a lovely town with beautiful architecture, good shopping and excellent language schools. You can find out more about Leamington Spa here. We also live very close to Warwick, a pretty small town with a top tourist attraction -Warwick Castle where you discover how the British lived in old times and the customs of the day including odd sports, such as jousting where knights fought on horseback!
Approximately 30 minutes away by car is Stratford-on-Avon, the home of William Shakespeare. It has a number of interesting shops and you can visit where Shakespeare lived and wrote some of his finest plays. Click here to find out more!
South of Stratford-upon-Avon becomes Cotswold country, and regarded by many as one of the most beautiful areas of England with its quaint old English villages, many offering attractive country pubs (bars)-not to be missed! See here for information about the Cotswolds.
Slightly further is the town of Oxford, famous for its university. Beautiful colleges, each with its own individual architecture can be visited.
